Climate action is not just for scientists and politicians—it belongs to everyone. Our "Empowering Youth for Climate Action" campaign is built on this belief, aiming to mobilize students across universities to take ownership of their local environment.
Campus Ambassadors Program
We launched our Campus Ambassadors program, recruiting 50 dedicated students from 12 universities. These ambassadors serve as focal points for sustainability on their campuses, organizing:
- Tree Plantation Drives: Over 2,000 indigenous saplings planted this season.
- Clean-up Campaigns: Weekly cleanup drives in local parks and hiking trails.
- Awareness Seminars: Peer-to-peer education on eliminating single-use plastics.
The Ripple Effect
The energy of these young volunteers is contagious. What started as small campus activities has spilled over into neighborhoods, with students engaging their families and local shopkeepers in conversations about waste segregation and water conservation.
By empowering youth today, we are securing a more conscious and active citizenry for tomorrow.
